How to Write a Book – The Secret to a Super Fast First Draft – SPI TV Ep. 1

Have you ever wondered how to write a book…fast? If you’re like me, then sometimes you have trouble with the hardest part – just getting started.

Blog posts typically come easy for me, but when it comes to writing books, I used to be completely clueless. If you’ve ever stared at a blank screen wondering what to write next, then you know exactly what I’m talking about. I have two books that I started which are now collecting virtual dust on my computer.

Recently, however, I discovered a method to quickly produce that important first draft, and I’m happy to share this technique with you in this first video of my new show, SPI TV! (Subscribe on YouTube or iTunes Video Podcast)

In the video below (captions are included via YouTube), I’ll show you how to write a book in a way that has enabled me to achieve over 180 words per minute and 36,000 words within two weeks! I’ve already completed the first draft of my next book, and I just had to share this with you because I know you have a book in you if you haven’t written one already.

Or, if you’re already published, perhaps this will increase your productivity for your next one!

Of course, there are a lot more steps to take after that important first draft, but getting started is the hardest part. Here’s the video for you below:
